You will feel at home away from home. The property has all the facilities, including hot water, WiFi, and breakfast. Most importantly, the owner truly makes this place a 10/10—very polite and kind. I booked this homestay because of the excellent feedback, and it definitely deserves a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating.

It’s a beautiful property. Very clean and thoughtfully decorated. The owner is very helpful and responsive.

1.The location in the sense if you have a car the parking is a big chore. It is sideways off the road inside the property parking it parallel with too many forward and back movements to put it in place. All the while you block traffic on the road. 2. They don’t have a kitchen though they did provide breakfast from some take away.

1) The owner is great. We reached around 7 AM, although our check in was from 1 PM he allotted us room without delay without any extra charge. 2) The geyser works good, they have provided an electric induction cooktop, a pressure cooker, other cooking pots, utensils, cups, plates, tea, sugar etc in the room which is really great and thoughtful. 3) The location is at a walking distance from the main road where you can easily get shared taxi to Police bazar (the main market place) at just Rs. 40/- per head. 4) There are good bakeries nearby, also few restaurants serving Chinese and western food.

We loved everything about Harry's B&B and ended up staying an extra 4 nights after our initial 3 nights.The room had everything you needed with hot water, well thought out furniture and all commodities for a comfortable stay. We slept really well each night. Robby and his wife are absolutely amazing and we met other family members who also supported us when we needed anything. They went out of their way to advise us on what to do and how to go about organising. Communication was exceptional. One of the best tips was booking a bus tour with Megalaya Tourism. We ended up doing that for two trips and loved coming back to Harry's after a busy day. The area surrounding the guest house is great with good food options and shops and it was nice to have a balcony behind our room and also a space to park the scooter we rented.. Breakfast was delicious and varied on different days which was very thoughtful. We fell in love with Shillong and Meghalaya and a big part of that was staying at Harrys B&B especially kind, welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful family, which really felt more like friends to us. We can't wait to go back someday and would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting Shillong. Don't hesitate, just book!!!
