Palm Valle guest house B&B

This was a wonderful experience of staying in a family home in Morocco. The room had a beautiful view over the palmeraie which we were able to walk through in the evening and morning. The birdsong was amazing! Omar and his wife were so welcoming, and the food was superb. We enjoyed an evening meal on the balcony as the sun set and probably the best breakfast we've had in Morocco. If you want a genuine Moroccan homestay then this is for you.

The beds were quite hard, but then that is always a personal preference. Otherwise, there is nothing I would change.

The hosts are very welcoming & Mr Omar speaks French, English & German..The scenery around Palm valle guest house is beautiful & views are amazing in probably the most scenic setting of Todra Palm groves..it's a very natural area & the guest house is within 1 minute walking to the Palm gardens & the old Kasbah & 20 minute walk to holy fish lake & Todra gorge. The accomodation was very relaxing & i slept very well in the room with television, & waking up to views over the valley & mountains, it is very attractive area & peaceful with lots of wildlife & different birdlife, donkeys etc, as well as possibilities to promenade or ride on donkey, & to see small animal farms with cows, sheep, goats & chickens. Breakfast was very tasty & fulfilling which included Omelette, choice of tea or coffee & fresh milk & butter, cheese, honey, jam, & delicious homemade breads, cakes & local dates & olives. There is a roof terrace & large balcony also to enjoy the views or take breakfast, although during cooler/hotter weather, there are seating areas inside. Shower was lovely hot or as you need it, they provided with shampoos, body wash & towell. As its part of a village area, there are many traditional houses in vicinity & the guest house, it is about 5 kms from Tinghir & where you can get taxi or collective taxi for 6 dirhams to the accomodation from the taxi station in the centre of Tinghir. Also to add that with weekly booking or more, there's possibility to use washing machine & line dry on the terrace

Only mention that i could complain about was that i visited during the coldest week of this year, although the days are still Okay, & at night they provided me with electric heater & extra blankets
