I liked the fact they treated us like family even though they wouldn’t speak English, they always went above and beyond! The food was amazing, proper traditional Egyptian food with big portions! Honestly, when we got there we thought it was not the same place we booked, but there was no mistake 😅 we thought of leaving because most it’s open air , but to be honest, we wished we could stay longer !!!!

That there was no heating, but not even a super fancy hotel we stayed in Cairo had!! When we mentioned to them they straight away provided extra blanket and it was much better!! Also the constant noise from the trains , unfortunately there’s nothing to be done about it!

The very best is that you are taken care as if you were family and all is easy and relaxed. It is simple and clean but is one of this places that warm your heart.

All is ok, it looks like a challenging location but we did prefere it here than on the noisy center or the turisty area. Our stay was perfect!

After being picked up free of charge from the bus station, we arrived at the hostel and were greeted with a breakfast and welcome drinks. The host was very kind and generous. Dinner and breakfast was provided daily - we certainly didn’t go hungry! The garden offers many social spaces to meet other travellers.

It gets damp and cold at night but if you ask for extra blankets you will be okay. Location is a little far from town if you want to walk but it’s a short drive to the temples and not a big problem.

It was a very good stay! The staff, especially the owner is great, welcoming & helpful! The breakfast and dinner provided is more like a feast - incredible! Very cozy and always clean. Highly recommended!

If I could get 20 points instead of 10, I would do it. Everything was great. It is a very charming place, like a jungle with some "wild animals" including a comfortable accommodation for a very fair price. The best part, as written many times is the endless hospitality of Amr and his team. They treated me like a king and have been very helpful. The food both for breakfast and dinner is so delicious, so big portions (like two standard portions) and everything is fresh and very tasty with a variety of meat and vegetarian dishes. This was a great experience with Egyptian cuisine and I wish many as satisfied guests as I was I recommend this stay.

The Peace Garden Hostel & Restaurant is just a bit away from the city centre of Luxor (approx. 30 minutes by walk) however, there are numerous minibuses for around 3 EGP.

I really enjoyed my stay. The food was amazing. Staff could sort out any trips for super cheap prices. I would definitely stay again.

This is a covered campsite on the edge of Luxor. I paid about $15 per night for a large room with a good cooked dinner and breakfast. The owner was superb, and even offered to lend me his private car.

It's about a 20 minute walk from Luxor, or $1 taxi raide.
