Story Book Cabin with Mountain Views, Game Cave, Hot Tub and Close to Downtown

We loved the house and the area. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked in the way of pots and pans. Great hot tub.

The only thing was that the flashlights all had dead batteries. We wanted to use them for a very early morning walk but the batteries were all dead.

I will definitely stay here again. They have everything you need and even more — toys for kids, board games, a grill, a jacuzzi, hot cocoa, and even little mushrooms in the backyard.

We brought a telescope with us, but there wasn’t really a place near the house with a clear view of the sky, since the cottage is surrounded by tall trees. It’s not really a downside — it just happened to be the case for us.

Very nice and clean and comfortable

Trying to get to the cabin, we were driving a mini van, and we had a hard time diving up the gravel, passway to the cabin.

It really is a Story Book cabin! Very charming, with every detail thoughtfully considered for guests. We were a family of 5, and everyone had their own space; and yet it felt so connected in the house. It was very clean too — for those of us that are truly sticklers. The location is perfect—close to Blue Ridge, and so private. It felt very safe. The owner was very responsive in general; and was v kind to mail us a garment we left behind in error. Highly recommend—definitely one of the nicest airbnbs we’ve stayed at.
