Apartment 3 The Old Drill Hall

Very spacious, clean, comfortable in a very quiet location, but only 10 mins walk to the seafront.

The hallway light is on a sensor and randomly switches on during the night. The showroom has a bit of an issue with smelly waste pipes.

The host provided clear instructions on how to get to the property, which is a beautifully rendered conversion of an Edwardian drill hall just off the main street. A lot of hard work has obviously gone into this property and the result is a really unique place to stay. With one en suite and an additional shower room/toilet next to the second double bedroom, this made it the ideal stay for my father and I to stay. It was clean and spacious, and I would highly recommend it for short breaks or longer stays.

It would have been perfect with the addition of bedside lights so that I didn't have to get out of bed when I finished reading my book at night. I would also have benefitted from instruction manuals for the cooker, although was able to work out how to use the hob in the end.

Really spacious apartment, in a quiet location. Good off street parking, comfy beds, loads of hot water and good showers.

It was perfect for us - but a hike into town.
