Eshborns House - Near Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and SGR with shuttle services at an extra fee

Great service, location and family. Will always come back here when going to Kenya.

Location is close to the airport and there's a shuttle that costs $10. The house itself is very cool, and surrounded by a wall, so safe. Breakfast was ok. The staff was excellent and responsive. For the price it can't be beat

We stayed one night, after arriving on the train from Mombasa, and before taking a flight out of Nairobi airport. The staff arranged for a taxi to pick us up from the train station at 4am. They allowed check in at that time, and then we left around 1pm. It was a good place to rest before continuing our journey. The hotel is located just 15minute drive from the airport. It was clean and quiet, and the shower worked well. It's possible to take an uber from the hotel to the airport, the staff helped the uber to find the house.

Everything was fine for what we needed. Just one suggestion: Breakfast is a bit heavy. Maybe add some fruit and real coffe instead of nescafe. There is not much to do in the surrounding neighborhood, but we only had to stay for one night.

Nahe am Flughafen und trotzdem sehr ruhig gelegen. Die Unterkunft liegt in einer bewachten Wohnanlage und ist auch noch einmal selbst mit Mauer und Tor abgesichert. Empfang, Betreuung und Verpflegung waren vorbildlich.

Absolutely great. Everything is extremely clean and tidy and the housekeeper got up in the middle of the night to prepare breakfast for us (we had breakfast at 3 AM!). Absolutely amazing. 10/10.

Things were just a little unclear upon arrival. It was tough to find the house and initially no one opened the gate once we found it. There is no door bell. Also, there was no introduction how things work (for example for dinner, you need to make your own arrangements, for example, we ordered some food). Anyway, this is just a little detail that can be improved.
