Gynn Stays - Apartment Two

Location was fine..about a mile from centre..tram stop situated not far from the appartment so all good.

The house was dirty in places. Bath and panel were dirty. Shower screen dirty..covered in soap splashes. Oven not clean. Bench dirty..there was melted cheese had dripped off bence and dried on. Sweets and papers under cushions. Window broken in living room so drafty/cold. No Internet in bedrooms . Top of stairs needs a gate..

The beds were comfy and the location was ok.

The bath had someone else’s dirty marks left in it resulting in us having to go out the buy cleaning products to clean it, the microwave was unusable and the cutlery and crockery were dirty again resulting in us having to clean it. On our first night my mother in law stood on shards of glass cutting her foot quite badly, when we looked around the floor we found a number of other fragments where the floor had not been cleaned, had that of been a baby / young child crawling it could have been so much worse, we used the hoover to clean up ourselves but left it in the apartment, the next day we were questioned as to where it was, when I mentioned what had happened with the glass they were more concerned about having the hoover put back in its place; they never even asked how my mother in law was. The first night we were also kept awake until the early hours by a party being had in the other apartment, we contacted the owner on the number provided with no response until I used the booking.com contact section, I advised the noise was horrendous and took videos as proof, we were then told if we felt we needed to, to call the police but we would need to let them in ourselves, this put me and my family at risk as there was around 30 people in there all drunk and loud. The level of care & service provided was below expectations and their response was basically if it was that bad you should have left…. There was a storm that weekend and not everyone has £300+ to pull out their pocket, when a property offers comfort and no parties this is the least you would expect for the money you pay.

The apartment was exceptionally modern, very clean , and spacious. The beds are very comfortable, and the pillows are like clouds. The bedside table are also Bluetooth chargers, way beyond me, as was the hand print code to access the doors 🤦‍♀️ so clever though! There’s a retro games machine… we spent hours on this 🤣 Kitchen has every you need, bathroom is beautiful with a jacuzzi style bath. The host was available whenever I needed to speak with them, first time ever I can’t find a fault with this stay, and we will be back again 🦋
