The Loft @ Kildare Village

Spotlessly clean, warm apartment, very convenient to Shopping village, ideal for an overnight stay

No kitchen facilities, no cutlery/crockery, made carry out food very difficult

It was modern, very clean and comfortable. The host Ailish was most helpful. The location was so close to the town and with shops, bars and food places close by, what else could you ask for.

Honestly can’t complain about anything.

Host berated my sister who has PTSD from her service as a mental health nurse. She was left in tears and has a panic attack afterwards, the trip was for her birthday. Shameful behavior. Would never recommend this as a place to stay for anyone

Everything. The Loft was absolutely amazing, it was so cosy & comfortable & we will definitely be back to stay there again. The location was also fantastic & Ailish is such a nice person & incredibly helpful.

It was our home for the duration of our stay, we were able to come and go as we pleased.

I couldn't fault the property one bit. It was our first time booking such a property, and we weren't let down.

It was a spacious loft where we could make our own hot drinks and had access to a small fridge. They even provided a number of yummy snacks!! We were ready for a relaxing evening and enjoyed Netflix’s on a large screen with a take-out pizza from nearby. GreT location! We were able to walk to the Loft from the Train Station, as well as, to the Irish Stud Farm and all of the other sights that we wanted to visit. Grocery store nearby.

We didn’t have hot water at the bathroom sink, but didn’t bother to ask about it, as the shower worked well.

Super little apartment, everything provided with a few special surprises that really make you feel welcome and looked after. Would have been difficult to find The Loft, but Ailish went out of her way to send very clear directions (and even photos) to ensure we found it with ease. Dealing with Ailish felt more like communicating with an old friend rather than a business host, so friendly and welcoming. One of the highlights of our three weeks in Ireland.

Nothing to dislike. Only thing to warn about is the roof being low at the edges of the room. Of course, there are signs to 'mind your head', but, it is easy to forget when getting up after bending down at cupboards etc. Don't let that put you off, you'd be missing out on a real gem.
