Lifts not working Flat on 5th floor

It was a nice, decent and clean apartment with a lovely city view from the balcony. It is well located with close proximity to the shopping centre and restaurants.

Location was good. View from the balcony was nice.

State of building and apartment was absolutely FILTHY! Apartment building was in a very poor state and had obviously not been maintained on a regular basis as the lift was out of service (the host was not aware of this apparently) given that my friend had some mobility issues it was quite difficult to climb up several flights of stairs every day I do not know what they would expect given someone with accessibility issues had booked it, it would have been impossible for them to reach the penthouse without the lift, when I contacted the host regarding the issue he said he would contact the building manager about it but it was not resolved by the time we left and I am pretty sure the lift had been out of service for some time after speaking to the other residents in the building. Cleanliness within the apartment was a huge issue as we came back in the night and inspected the bed covers and duvets to find multiple pieces of hair everywhere even on the floor, the sofa bed which is the third bed was torn and had crumbs in the crevices, there were a few dirty towels which we did not make a big issue out of as there were many clean ones as well, however the hair for us was a big issue, after contacting the owner about this in the night his response was to put dirty covers in washing machine and change it ourselves and that it’s too late to get it cleaned and that housekeeping will come tomorrow when booking this place it had a decent review score so I had the expectation that it would have already been cleaned to a certain extent, it would have been very easy for the housekeeper to pick this up. The communication between ourselves and the owner was very poor we did demand a full refund on the first night and were ready to leave to a travel lodge around 1am however as it was getting late we spent an hour or two changing all the bed covers and pillowcases. Good location and view from terrace

My wife and I were looking for a peaceful and charming getaway that still felt like home, and this accommodation exceeded our expectations. The cleanliness and interior design truly gave us that "home away from home" feeling. The bed was incredibly comfortable and soft, the bathroom was sparkling clean, and the quality of the furnishings showed that the hosts put great care into creating a wonderful experience.The host was very helpful and accommodating, and the space itself was both decent and spacious. We especially enjoyed the lovely city view from the balcony, which added to the overall charm of our stay. We can't wait to visit again soon!
