"An Absolute Gem of an Apartment!"

We stayed at the Beach House Apartment over the Easter bank holiday for two nights and honestly couldn’t have asked for more. The location is unbeatable - right on the harbour - so it was very easy to find. There are loading bays directly outside for convenient unloading, and once inside, we found all the car parking reservation info ready and waiting for us. The apartment itself is exactly as pictured: clean, tidy, well-equipped, and the views are simply stunning. There’s a Co-op a short walk away for any essentials, and you’ve got beaches, bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and bakeries right on your doorstep. We ate out both nights and can highly recommend Onzo for delicious pizza and Talay Thai Kitchen for amazing Thai tapas. Both were fantastic! One of our highlights was walking the coastal path to Carbis Bay (about 45 minutes) and then taking the train back to St Ives - under 5 minutes and less than £2 each! Carbis Bay is perfect for a quieter afternoon with lovely beaches, great coffee spots, and even a chance to spot seals in the sea. The only minor challenge (which has nothing to do with the apartment) was navigating the narrow, busy roads to get to the designated parking at Porthgwidden car park. The roads can be tight and stressful, especially during busy times like Easter, so just a heads up for anyone not used to coastal town driving. That said, the owners provide clear instructions, and it's a small hiccup in what was otherwise a fantastic stay. As first-time visitors to St Ives, we were completely charmed. We’d absolutely recommend both the Beach House Apartment and the town itself to anyone planning a trip!
