Good location

My overall experience with the property was highly unsatisfactory. Despite arriving punctually at the agreed check-in time of 3 PM after a lengthy 24-hour journey from Australia, upon entering the apartment, it was evident that the premises had not been serviced following the departure of the previous guests. This included a full trash bag at the entrance, unmade beds, used towels left in the bathroom, and unwashed dishes in the kitchen area. After notifying the property manager of the situation, it took a wait of 3 hours for the cleaning team to arrive and service the apartment. Regrettably, this was not the only setback encountered during my stay. Additionally, there was a notable concern regarding a pervasive cigarette odor emanating from the downstairs bar, which significantly compromised the quality of my accommodation. Despite efforts to reduce the issue by ventilating the space with open windows, the smell persisted throughout my stay, leading to adverse health effects. Furthermore, the pervasive cigarette odor permeated my clothing that now requires laundering and dry cleaning. Consequently, I have taken the steps to formally register my grievances with booking.com to address these unacceptable circumstances.

Good sized flat in an excellent location. Area was quiet. The beds were super comfortable. The flat was well furnished. Earlier reviews mentioned the smell of cigarettes but there were 2 air purifiers ( I think ) so there was no smell. TV had netflix. It was a home from home.

No blinds on windows so be aware. No number on flat was a bit confusing ( first floor overlooking street FYI ). Bathroom was very small

Great location. Everything you need is available inside. Modern and relaxed furnitures.

Smelled of cigarette

The apartment reeked of cigarette smoke everywhere. We were not able to stay for the 1 night we had booked. I messaged the host who said he could make another apartment available to us instead, but finally after 5 hours of back and forth admitted that it would not be possible. We had to find a last-minute hotel for the night instead.

Firstly, I think that the bed was the most comfortable that i have ever slept on in a rental. location is perfect and would say it is ideal for all locations! full netflix available for viewing.

As previous reviews have said there is a smell, but they are doing a lot to combat that, air filters for one, perhaps refil the reed difusers, with a gentle scent, not a dislike but there are a few steep stairs on entrance so this might be an issue for some! but we didn't

Location was fantastic apartment was exceptionally clean. Just the cigarette smell everywhere. Opened all windows on arrival but did not clear the air

Really strong smell of cigarettes, so much so that when we got home to the UK our clothes in suitcase absolutely stunk of cigarettes. Arrived on the Thursday and on the Saturday night environmental heath inspectors knocked on door and ask if we were smoking inside apartment. We are a non smoking family with our daughter. They knocked on all the apartments asking the same. They thought it maybe the Café under the apartments letting people smoke inside their premises.

The apartment is located right on top of a bar where the guests are allowed to smoke inside. Literally right on top on the first floor. The first half of the apartment rieked of cigarette-smoke already on arrival. This led to us to immediately ask for a relocation and booking.com were able to help us move on the second day. We had planned to stay in the first night but could not stand being in the apartment due to the smell and smoke stinging in your eyes so we had to go out for dinner. When we got back later that night the situation was even worse. The first night we had to spend barricaded in the inner section of the apartment where it was a little bit better, the whole family, two adults and two children in the children’s bed. We had to wash all our clothes in our luggage after leaving. We received no compensation from the owner even though this must be a well known risk. NB! We are neither hyper-sensitive nor allergic.
