never got the chance to go

I got a call to say there was a leak in the room and they had to cancel. This was on my way there. I was offered a refund and a free booking for the future. I have sent email and numerous calls and told it would be sorted. Not received a penny.

"You get what you pay for - we just needed a cheap room for the night."

Location and helpfulness of owner.

Bed was very uncomfortable and the hot water cylinder (for the whole building) in our room was very noisy, as were the other guests smoking outside our room.

Leaving

Badly stained and unflushed toilet. Dirtyroom and, kettle leaked, broken TV outside in the corridor. Communal kitchen not fit for use. Very noisy.
