Desert Dream Royal Camp & Pool

Excellent hospitality from start to the end. Staff will listen to your needs and kind enough to assist you. Evening refreshments and folk event were too good. The location is nice and it’s not a roadside camp so be prepared to travel a km inside. Stunning sunset view from the property.

The staff on site at the hotel (except for the tour booking gentleman) were all very sweet, and helpful. The gentleman we booked our desert tour and camel ride overcharged us for the experience. It was laughable how bad the “experience” was. We drove 3 minutes from the hotel in a jeep, to have a 10-minute camel ride and then left there by ourselves. We were sold on a private jeep tour, with camel ride and beautiful sunset view point. We paid $60USD. The whole point of visiting the camp was to have a special experience in the desert and we were very disappointed. We requested a refund and they said they would send it. We are still waiting…

It rained and the property was unprepared for this. The tents are not waterproof. We had texted the property a day before asking if the rain would be an issue and they said no. The team transferred us to a nearby hotel that had an enclosed room since our bed in the tent was soaking wet from the rain.

Il personale pensa unicamente alle mance o alle recensioni positive: fanno i furbetti, state attenti. Soprattutto se prendete extra e volete pagarli con la carta di credito vi metteranno costi extra di transazione folli (in tutti gli altri posti in India se ti mettono extra della cc al massimo sono del 3.5% o del 5% della transazione). Cuscini, copri materasso e asciugamani molto macchiati: in generale la camera è pulita, ma per quello che è stato pagato dovrebbero stare più attenti ai dettagli.

We had a wonderful winter vacation at the camp. The staff were humble, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made our stay even more comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious and felt like a home cooked treat after a long day. The ambiance of the camp was peaceful and refreshing, and the tents were clean and well maintained. Overall, it was a memorable experience that we truly enjoyed and would love to revisit.
