There was a broken smoke alarm socket right next to the bed. Which was reported but nothing done about it. The mattress was 6 inches too small for what appeared to be a home made base. The water went off resulting in us not being able to shower after the hot tub.
GBGBIt was very secluded beautiful views of the forest. Enjoyed the hot tub on both nights. This cabin is at the back so out of the way from others. Enjoyed the peace abs quiet and no phone service which was amazing as no interrupts from social media absolutely perfect little cabin

GBGBAbsolutely love staying at the HiveAway, this is the second time we have stayed there and are also coming back on the 27th for my partner’s 30th Birthday.
There is nothing I didn’t like about the property. The only thing I will say is I found numerous long Black hairs everywhere i.e. in bathroom, flooring throughout (so much so i wouldn’t or couldn’t walk around bare footed and also found the same long black hairs in towels provided which put me off a little bit. I attempted to use mop provided but this was also full of long black hairs which was disappointing :( Our first visit was amazing as it was very clean but will be bringing my own cleaning supplies at the end of July as I do not feel it was cleaned as it should have been or like it was on our first visit.
GB.Everything the lodge was right at the back away from all the others which was perfect for us as. It was lovely clean and tidy and in a great location
It would have been handy to have some shampoo and soap there. Everywhere I normally stay have these provided so we didn't think to bring any with us as we only there for one night
