The host forgot to leave the fob key but immediately sent it over when informed about it. They added some laundry powder when I asked so I can laundry to their paid facility in the basement. There was 24/7 security on desk. The location was in the downtown but far enough from the homeless cluster... I saw one or two when I walked to The Hub but they were to themselves. And thanks for the snacks and drinks!

When we arrived past 10PM after a 13hrs flight, we did not have access to the main door. We were relying on the security desk to open for us, as per the hosts' advise. However, we called on him by knocking on the glass door and we were sure that he saw us many times...but completely ignored us! We stood there like idiots in a cold night all tired from a long haul for over 10 minutes! Someone opened and exited the door so we sneaked our way in... had it not been the case, who knows what's gonna happen coz the security personnel did not care! When we asked him why he didn't open the door, he ranted that his shift was over and it wasn't his job! It was seriously humiliating and appalling! First impression did not bid well. After the arrival incident, nothing biggy happened. Minor issues like the gym wasn't operational, the swimming pool was not clean (it's too cold to swim anyway), the fob key was not available so we were at mercy of the other residents to come by and open in order to sneak in (again, the security personnel was not helpful at all!), there was fire in the building last January 2024 so the other half from the ground floor had clear indications of it, the kitchen is missing some items (tong, bigger pan, salt&pepper, etc), one of the elevators looked beaten and not safe, the whole building looked very run down and totally needed some tender love and care! Anyway, after all these remarks, I think I would stay there again just because the hosts are wonderful and responsive!
