Oceanfront Efficiency T604

The oceanfront room was just as described and perfect for my little long weekend trip.

The building was in complete disrepair and the parking lot was very sketchy. I did not feel safe at all leaving my vehicle on the small parking lot provided by the resort.

The room was comfortable and clean.

The building it self was very out dated the ice machine didn't work hallways was very dirty

Since there was an issue with the original efficiency we were supposed to stay at. The host managed to accommodate us prior to arrival with another room. It was nice and spacious for my two children and I. The ocean view was beautiful. It’s an older building but the rooms don’t look anything like the outside which was good.

The first day on arrival, the keypad didn’t work. However, maintenance did come to fix the issue. The doorway should be replaced because it’s apparent that this has happened in the past with the doorway being chipped away. He practically had to break the door open with a tool but he managed to fix the door keypad.

We struggled when we got there which was part my fault. I don’t realize there was no one there to check you in. So I did t get the email that I had to fill out info before getting my room passcode. Then I found out that the room I booked which was on the 6th floor ocean front, apparently the room above it flooded so we were unable to get that room. I booked it because I wanted to be up high to see the ocean. So they moved us to the 2nd floor, but our code didn’t work. So we had to wait for a worker. I got a call and they said they were going to upgrade us to a nicer room because of the inconvenience, plus they didn’t have curtains up in the room on the 2nd floor. So they upgraded us to the 11th floor or which we were so excited about. We get to the room, and it hadn’t been cleaned yet. So we then had to push all our stuff back to the 2nd floor room, and wait for them to put curtains up. All of this after driving 8 hours. So that was very frustrating. The rooms are nice, but the hotel is pretty run down. There was cigarette smoke smell in thei hall ways. The view of the ocean from our room was amazing though. We were right there on the ocean. So I will say for the money it’s worth it, plus it’s bed bug free which is a plus. Just don’t expect anything fancy! Oh and make sure you fill everything out before you get there because there is no one there to check you in. If you are wanting a pool just know that there is no pool. I rented this one because I could have sworn I saw there was a pool, but there’s not. Again that was probably my fault. We went in April so I figured an out door pool might be open, but there’s pool was empty.

Overall, I am very pleased. The building needs a little more TLC, but the unit was fresh & clean. Bring your own skillet & a baking sheet if you plan to do any cooking as only one small pot in the unit. Slight disappointment over indoor pool being closed for renovation. Despite these minor flaws, I am extremely pleased with the value of this very cute ocean front efficiency.
