Katerina´s Place - Funchal

Muy bien situado, muy cerca de autobus y supermercado. La hospedadora muy amable y atenta.

Está al lado de una calle con mucho tráfico y había bastante ruido por la noche. Es ajeno al propietario pero no te deja descansar.

Todo fenomenal. Muy amplio y cómodo, con todo lo necesario y de buena calidad.

Katerina‘s place is a comfortable and roomy 3-bedroom unit in a big, modern and well-maintained building. All the floors are accessible by lifts including the parking garage underneath. The unit is very well-furnished and comfortable. There’s a nice balcony overlooking the communal pool area with a view to the sea. I’m afraid the sea view will disappear soon because of a big new development going in across the street. The kitchen is equipped with good major appliances, a filter coffee maker and espresso pot, a toaster, and enough other pots and pans, etc. to do elementary cooking. Fine for our needs, except we could’ve used some soup bowls. But no big deal. It doesn’t have a dishwasher. No problem for 2 people, but maybe inconvenient for more. There is however a very good washer/dryer stack in the apartment. The process of checking in and out was fast and efficient, communicating with the friendly staff was easy. Within walking distance of the unit there are many restaurants, cafes and bars as well as 2 grocery stores, a pharmacy and even a shopping mall. The parking garage is easy to maneuver in, and the location is a good jumping off point to explore Funchal and the rest of the island.
