We had the best week stay here, we didn’t want to come home! The location is amazing, as well as the apartment being so clean and tidy. The communication of the host was also brilliant, always there to help on what’s app whenever.

There was nothing bad we could really say about the property or our stay, the pool area was very residency and not a lot of English people so communication barrier was hard if we had any query’s around the pool. However literally didn’t bother or matter to us as our host was there for that and was fab. A full length mirror would be a good add to the room, as only one mirror in the bathroom:)

The location is perfect, a short stroll to everything. There was coffee, water and some pastries which is a nice touch. The directions and instructions are clear and easy to follow. The view from the balcony is great. The bed is very comfortable. The toiletries were lovely.

No comfortable seating other than the bed but the apartment is very small so there isn't really room for anything more than is already there. It's the Costa del Sol so most of the time is spent outside anyway, it was only emphasised for me because the weather was unusually poor while I was there.

Location was great , nice and clean, good communication with owner.

The water in shower didn't stay hot for long enough . Needs some drawers for underwear etc , and more space for clothes. Definitely needs a shelf or such like , to put toiletries on in the shower cubicle . Minor points , but they would a big difference. Could do with a lamp by the bed as the main light is too powerful

The room itself is slightly small for two, it’s fine for a few days or just sleep and breakfast, kitchen is a little small to cook in and electric is in inconvenient places.

The location was central to everything, the marina, shops, bars, restaurants, beach, apartment, park & buses & people were lovely and friendly. I would definitely return. Ariana was the best host always quick to reply to any questions I had, the apartment was spotless clean, air con, washing machine great shower & great views. It is residential, quiet and very safe.

There was nothing not to like.

Ariana was a very attentive host and helped in every way she could. The apartment was nicely furnished and clean, a comfy chair would top the furnishing. I stayed alone for 13 nights and it was comfy to stay for one person. A bit small kithcen for cooking, but I appreciated a lot the coffee machine and washing machine. The complementries on arrival were a delightful suprise and made me happy when arriving thirsty and tired!

It is a big apartment building with spanish autentive living -ofcourse. So be prepared for some noices from around. Renovation on some floor(this was on March, when the city is getting ready fot the high season), smoking upstairs etc. I slept well though using earplugs.

Casa Alana is a great little studio, beautifully equipped with all I needed, and lots of lovely touches, decorations and books which made it a super home-from-home for me during January 2024. The balcony faces west, overlooking the area and mountains in the distance, with a small glimpse of the sea as well. Lovely views of golden sunsets and pink morning glow. I liked living amongst the multi-lingual people who reside there, and I made lovely Spanish connections & friends. I also enjoyed chatting with Mari-Carmen, the friendly receptionist. Ariana, the host, was very attentive and helpful whenever I needed something. She also checked with messages to see if everything was ok. The studio is close to the bus stops with very frequent buses everywhere. (You can get a special tarjeta consorcio from the tobacconist onto which you can charge some money - every bus journey with this card will then only cost you 45 cents, even to Malaga!). There are many international restaurants and bars close by.

As it was winter, the bare floor felt a little cold underfoot, and the studio perhaps lacks a comfortable seating area for a longer stay.
