Every amenity we needed was there, the property owner was exceptionally kind and generous with us, the house is spacious and very secure. 7 minutes away on foot from the supermarket.

There was a slight odor of cigarette smoke in the house but you could tell that whoever cleaned tried very hard to get rid of it. It was just a bit unpleasant. Other than this, the place was perfect and frankly, very good value.

This town was nice really close to Como and to the lake.

Do youselves a favor and do NOT book this appartment. The check-in was from 15.00 and at 15.30 they messeged me that we need to do an online check-in before arriving. They asked me for my private email address and sent me the instructions with a link where we were obliged to upload two-sided copy of our documents (ID, passport) as well as selfies of all guests. None of this infomation was mentioned while I was making a reservation. I called the lady who is responsible for this appartment (she is not the owner) and told her we are not going to upload our photos after which she said that only our documents would be just fine. Not to mention that we had to stop along the way to fill those forms because they were not capable of sending them to us at least a day before our arrival. On the online check-in we were asked to pay (by card) the tourist tax because if you don't pay in advance, they don't send you further instructions on how to get in the appartment. There was an error and they prepared the check-in form for 4 persons, but we were in 3. They asked me to pay 9 euros more that the actual price and said they were going to do a refund later, which obviously they did not do. When we entered the appartment, the sofa bed was not prepared and neither a duvet had a duvet cover. Also, the drain of the bathroom sink was completely clogged and when I told the lady about it, she accused us of doing that and was extremely rude, even though we had entered the appartment only a few hours ago. After many rude messages she sent us, she just stopped responding to our messages. They did not resolve the problem with the sink, so we had to wash our hands in the kitchen for 5 days. Also, I did not receive the refund of the tourist tax, even though they asked for my IBAN. On top of everything she had the nerve to call me rude after a series of unanswered calls and accusations that she made without any proof.

We arrived into the apartment in a rainy day. The city was flooded and we soaked wet. The apartment was very warm, the heating was on and it helped us a lot to wash and dry everything fast. The bed and the sofa were clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything that we needed. The location was also good. To go to the city centre we used bus #11 and the bus stop was near the gate, but most of all we loved ferry Tavernola-Como, it was faster than by bus and so enjoyable. As I travelled with my kids we often went to the supermarket Lidl, only 7 minutes walk. I loved the place and the service
