"Grubby, unkempt house. Rubbish dump on garden. Avoid!"

Spacious house. Floors kitchen and bedding clean

Very neglected - externally we turned up to over flowing bins and food waste/rubbish in the garden with flies. Opened ex dish washer which hadn’t washed so we had the last guests dishes to wash by hand…but no plug for the sink. The smoke detector had been disconnected. Rest of house “ok” but realised over the weekend furniture sparse broken and uncomfortable for 5. 2 old chairs in a garden of weeds so not pleasant to enjoy the sunshine in. Showers grubby and needed a good bleaching. Floor in bathroom unsteady/spongy in parts. Our guest in the small bedroom said they never slept as he mattress was thin with broken springs. We came home 1 day early as we could not relax. Fine if you’re not fussy and want somewhere to rest your head for the night. We emailed the agency back twice but totally disregarded and got emails back saying hope you’ve had a pleasant stay let us know if we can do anything!!

I liked that it was a walking distance to the nearest supermarket and the house is spacious, has garden which did manage to use but it's a place I would highly recommend

Adequate for our needs

Emptied kitchen bin after stay to find it disgusting underneath which nearly caused me to vomit. Some furniture was worn/stained. Some previous ceiling damage in kitchen could have been painted. Other skirting board paintwork tatty. A fan would have been helpful as even with windows open it was too warm for sleeping.

Rubbish bins were overflowing outside the property, windows were dirty, cigarette butts were thrown in the back garden area and there was a sticky substance on the living room floor. The couches had rips in them also.

"Disgusting property, host avoids all contact and left out of pocket"

Absolutely disgusting property, wasn't cleaned before our arrival, hairs all over the floors and bedding, old food on the carpets and bedding, mould in the bathroom and floor is all rotten, the kitchen is horrendous, dirty cups and baking trays with old food left in it, smoke detection missing with just wires hanging from the ceiling, random loose wires in the living room coming out of the walls. The photos must be of when the property was first built, I can't express enough how bad this property is, please avoid it at all costs and also the host, I paid for 4 nights and checked out after 1 as we arrived at 10:30 on the night and had no choice but to stay, we slept fully clothed ontop of the beds they were disgusting, expressed all my concerns to the host via message as they dont ever answer the phone to you and avoid speaking over the phone for some reason and they said someone would be out the following day to rectify, no one turned up hence why we checked out, since then i have sent them 12 messaged regarding a refund, all of which have been completely ignored, message after message on WhatsApp is left on read and every phone call rings out, booking.com can't help either as it's the host that needs to make a refund, it cost me £372 for the week and I've not had a single penny back from the property and this was nearly 6 weeks ago. Please keep your hard earned money away from these con artists, I can't express enough how bad this property is and I've stayed in hundreds over the years, I don't expect 5 star from anywhere but this place wouldn't get 1 star it's that filthy, if you have any issues you will never be able to get hold of them as they avoid contact at all costs. Woukd upload more photos if I could but only allowed 4, AVOID AVOID AVOID

All 4 chairs at the dining table was covered in stains, all the carpets are a cream colour and stained throughout the house. The walls had marks all over and scribble marks on the stair walls. The tv was sentimental and didn’t always turn on. Also where the virgin box is on the wall there is a large whole in the wall with wires hanging out - not safe , especially having families with kids staying here (they tried to cover this with an artificial plant). In the bathroom there was black mould parts developing round the tiles/bath area, the wooden bath panel also deteriorating. On top of the condition of the house a £300 deposit was taken which is a lot for the condition of the house originally, it took days to get the deposit back only because we was constantly contacting about the refund of deposit and had to make a complaint directly to booking.com
