Deluxe Three Bed BnB in Henley-on-Thames near Station River & Town Centre

We were greeted by Richard who was lovely and very helpful. We did enjoy our stay here ( except for the bed problem) but it wasn’t what we were expecting and as strange as it was Richard made us feel very welcome.

It was a strange setup which was not mentioned in the advertising! Richard actually lives in the apartment as well and his room was next to ours so we could hear him chatting on his mobile so we assumed he could hear us to so we felt we had to whisper , not sure if he has an on-suit or he shared our bathroom as the medicine cabinet was full of his things! I had to use the wardrobe in one of the other rooms as our wardrobe was full of Richard’s things. There was no lounge so you had to eat breakfast in the larger bedroom which had a table in it. Unfortunately our bed was an old iron frame which had the most terrible squeak every time one of us moved so kept waking in the night. It said parking on the website which turned out be down the road in the station and cost us £18.

The location is right next to the train station and a 7 minute walk into town. The house was well equipped, we took our breakfast down to the river for a picnic brunch, it was fabulous. The beds were comfortable, it was all easy and the communication with Ffion was effortless. I would reccomend it and its handy for visiting family in Henley. The manager does live on the top floor next to one of the bedrooms, however, he wasn't there during our stay so we had the run of the house which suited us perfectly. Thank you for a comfortable stay.

the plug-in room fresheners in every room produced an unpleasant sickly fragrance.

Great location and breakfast was set out at the time we asked for and we could just help ourselves, all very easy. Henley is a beautiful town to stop in, will definitely be back.
