Host & Stay - Scarborough View Luxury Apartment

The overall layout of the apartment was very nice.

The wash hand basins were too small, the noise of the traffic was quite bad as the main road into Scarborough is to the front of the building.

I had to buy a feather pillow. The oven needed a good clean. The kitchen tap needed tightening. The bin lid wouldn’t keep closed.

Wifi would not hold a TEAMS call - had to switch to 4G on my phone. Wifi would not stream NOWTV - kept cutting out. Again, I had to use 4G on the phone, which despite showing much slower speed was stable. Not acceptable. Heating was not very effective in the main living space.

It was nice having different rooms, just being able to go into the apartment with a code was better than it being open 24/7

The location was good but abit far from the town centre

Place was lovely and free parking.

Balcony overlooked busy road.

Light and bright. Modern. Sunny balconies. Handy for the bus.

Too close to the road to Filey and although it was called Scarborough View the actual view was the main road, a grass bank and some trees. Dirty oven cloth. Bizarrely the bathroom door was locked from the inside somehow. Engineer was sent out. Flat 4 parking is actually 101 and the front door was marked 101 and the key in the lockbox said ‘Flat 14’ on the key fob! Loud music from cricket club/college event Friday afternoon & evening

The flat was perfect and to a very high standard. The hosts have thought of everything and we were so happy there. We would definitely come again and cannot stress how comfortable, clean and stylish the flat is.
