Mountain View Cottage, Hot Tub , Stunning Views

We loved the location and size of the property. The views were breathe taking, with the added bonus of a hot tub.

The hot tub was the main highlight, the owner was friendly enough and tried to fix the issues in the cottage, the location was great as it wasn't too far to drive to get to a lovely walk. The bed was comfortable

The kitchen cupboards were dirty, food debris in oven, no dish cloths to wipe surfaces down or anti bacterial, the bathroom smelt real bad, no bathroom cleaning products withers. the power went off in Xmas day due to boiler leaking on electrics and then we had intermittent hot water and heating for the remainder of the stay so that was annoying. We were unable to shower after a hot tub so meant less use which was the only highlight really. It was cold in the evenings due to lack of heating and the electric fire in living room made a lot of odd noises so we weren't comfortable using that. The hot tub definitely wasn't cleaned each morning as the info said and no bathroom floor mats provided or change of towels so had to use our own

We had a great time staying here, it was as described and very nice, nothing to dislike. Met the host briefly, very accomadating. The only thing I would suggest if planning on going in the hot tub in the winter, bring some slip on shoes, about a 15 second walk and in the winter your feet are frozen haha, obviously using your normal shoes they will be wet.
