Aurora View Lapland, Sky View Bedroom

Hyvä, perussiisti huoneisto sopivan matkan päässä palveluista (kauppa, ravintolat). Rauhallinen sijainti. Jacuzzissa oli mukava istuskella poreissa vaellusreissujen jälkeen.

Astioita kuuden hengen seurueellemme oli niukasti, jatkuvasti sai asianpesukonetta pyörittää. Huoneissa ei ollut lainkaan lasku- tai kaappitilaa vaatteille ja varusteille, tästä iso miinus. Ulkoterassi oli iso ja olisi ollut mukava siellä istuskella, mutta kalusteet puuttuivat. Tai olihan siellä yksi rikkinäinen tuoli.

Sijainti on loistava. Lähellä Kilpisjärven palveluita. Huoneisto oli siisti ja varustelu pääosin riittävä reissulle, jossa päivät vietetään patikoimassa ja iltaisin huoneistolla oleillaan, laitetaan ruokaa ja saunotaan. Plussaa siitä, että pesukone ja kuisvausrumpu löytyy jolloin patikoidessa likaantuneet varusteet saa pestyä ja kuivattua huoneistossa.

Takaterassin ja yhden makuuhuoneen yksityisyys kärsi siitä, että rakennuksen takana oleva mökki on lähellä ja sen isot ikkunat ja terassi on huoneiston takaterassille päin. Lisäksi emme keksineet miten takaoven saa lukkoon eikä majoittaja vastannut kysymykseemme tästä. Otimme arvotavaramme aina autoon mukaan kun lähdimme. Olisimme kaivanneet varustukseen lisäksi viinilaseja ja jokin kalusteryhmä terassilla olisi mahdollistanut terassilla oleilun paremmin.

Sijainti hyvä

Jouduimme vaihtamaan majoitusta lukuisten epäkohtien johdosta, joista keskeisimmät liittyivät turvallisuustekijöihin. Huoneistossa ei ollut ilmastointia, joten poikkeuksellisella helteellä lämpötila asunnossa oli vaarallisen korkea. Lisäksi asunnon takaovea ei saanut lukkoon lainkaan, joten huomeustoon olisi kuka vain päässyt sisälle. Ratkaisua haettiin omistajan kanssa puhelimitse asianmukaisesti, mutta 4 yön varaus päädyttiin purkamaan. Huoneiston astiavarustelu oli puutteellinen ja terassilla ei minkäänlaisia kalusteita (yksi rikkinäinen jakkara). Myös piha-alue sotkuinen. Huoneiston esittely ja kuvat eivät siis täysin kohdanneet, mutta pienellä vaivalla asiat saisi korjattua. Saapumispäivä meni asioiden selvittelyyn bookingin ja omistajan kanssa sekä uuden majoituksen etsintään. Selvittely harmillisesti jatkuu edelleen bookingin kanssa, koska eivät hyvittäneetkään kirjallisesti sopimaamme summaa.

1. Very responsive host who was really helpful to resolve and address questions. 2. Very well maintained and beautiful house with ample amenities. 3. Rooms were beautiful and full glass which gave us the opportunity to look at the wonderful view in a cosy home. 4. The jacuzzi was great, good for family bonding.

1. The heating takes a long while to heat up the home, had to struggle with the coldness for a while. 2. The fireplace was a little hard to operate, perhaps should have clearer instructions to help guests operate. 3. The location on google maps was not accurate, so had to walk around to find the actual unit. 4. For travellers who don’t drive, location can be quite a challenging walk in the cold winter.

the apartment is beautiful, comfortable beds, nice furniture and clean. The views on the windows are amazing and dreaming, and everything is very peaceful.

The heating does not work very fine (and I like cold), if the fire pit was not on all the time would be freezing. I payed the price for this apartment because I really was hoping to use the Jacuzzi, but when I arrived at the accommodation the water was ice cold (1 degree Celsius). I reach out for the accommodation to try fix it, but even doing everything as instructed, still when I was checking out and leaving, the jacuzzi was still cold, so the minimum that the property should do is keep the Jacuzzi hot prior the arrival of the guests. Otherwise, I could just stayed at a hotel, or pay a (way) less expensive accommodation without a jacuzzi. The kitchen is not very well equipped, and since there is no stove extractor, the whole place is gonna smell after you cook.

Spacious house with 3 bedrooms all with lovely large bay windows. Large kitchen with large fridge freezer and utility room. Previous users left food basics, much appreciated! Gorgeous terrace area and reindeers walking past!

Jacuzzi was cold on arrival, after biking for 4 hours, that was disappointing. Owner helped us sorting it out but it took 7 hours to reach temperature. Coffee pods machine broken. Some basic kitchen roll / cloth not provided. Beds very uncomfortable in one room, we moved to the other room "aurora viewing" the next day which was better. No bathroom at all, only one shower next to the sauna. 2 toilets and 2 washing hands basin to be used for brushing teeth in the toilet. Terrace area overlooking into a pod accommodation. It made us feel very uncomfortable when using the jacuzzi or just chilling outside as they were a stone throw away!!!

A really nice comfortable cozy and chic house. Amelia and Brett created a beautiful home with all specials and basics you need during your stay in Lappland, just to mention some of them: -three sleeping rooms with angled windows and a cute bathtub in one of them -well equipped kitchen with a kitchen island for nice cooking& dinner time -small details like wintershoes in a standard female size or shower gel and body lotion next to the sauna -stylish chimney and a sauna to enjoy warm evenings after spending time in ~30 degrees outside -great sense of interieur ,e.g beautiful english linen, modern furniture&decoration -the landlords were nice and available all the time
