No communication with host. Apartment a mess with junk strewn all over the place. Not cleaned in days or weeks. No bed linens. Cancel the apartment from your listing

"DO NOT BOOK - scam listing"

1.0

DO NOT BOOK. See below

DO NOT BOOK. This property is either abandoned or a scam. We arrived to find the door code did not work, the phone # for the property also did not work, and mail was overflowing from the mailbox. A neighbor came out and informed us that a number of other people who had booked through booking.com had showed up and were unable to get in. A police officer showed up to do a wellness check because the neighbors were concerned. I am still waiting for a refund from booking.com

"Exceptional"

10.0

I was actually very surprised by the decor, as there were a lot of little things that matched my interests. Owner was friendly, and maintained privacy between he and I, I couldn't find a single thing to complain about. Very satisfied with my stay, especially with it being my first AirBnB.

"Cozy room in Pittsburgh neighborhood"

7.0

It was cozy and personal. One really gets a realistic stay in Pittsburgh to see the architecture styles of homes. The host was welcoming. I liked that there was a key for my room so that afforded some privacy. The host was friendly and there were little treats offered. I went for a concert and just needed a place to rest for the night before driving back to Cleveland. It was exactly what I needed. The location is close to downtown so that is very helpful if you're from out of town coming for events. I slept well and I would stay again.

Parking was not ideal even though I'm good a parallel parking. It's a very residential street with an incline so all should be mindful of that. I would also say that while the linen was clean, the room smelled like a thrift store. An easy fix would be Febreze or Wallflowers just so that there's a fresh scent. I'm not a fan of shared bathrooms but it's basically a house and the individual rooms are rented.
