The owner is friendly and the setting is secure, rural, scenic and quiet with a horse and friendly dogs. The room is clean and comfortable with with two upholstered arm chairs, a wood fold down desk and a double bed.

The lighting is not adequate for reading except in bed. There is one ceiling light in the center of the room and two bedside lamps. The desk needs a lamp and the arm chair area could use a floor lamp. The 'continental breakfast' consists of two small cellophane wrapped muffins in the refrigerator and instant coffee.

Can't say anything positive about the place. WiFi and TV worked.

Unsettling to see a roach on the wall just before we went to bed .... wife freaked out. Mattress and bed springs old and very soft .... no support. Tissue box was empty. Sink stopper not working. Tiny bathroom. Room too small and not comfortable ... too rustic. Chairs from the 80's ... like sitting on the floor ... hard to get up. Loud Window AC unit .... really? Loud dehumidifier. From the outside, the "cottage" looked like a shack. Excessive fees tacked on to the price.

Quiet stay. Great people. Loved the dogs running around. Comfortable beds relaxing

Host did everything to make it a pleasant experience and went beyond the call to provide it to be a very pleasant stay.... other than she could not control Mother Nature's cold shoulder.....
