Central to the town with chippy at the end of the street

Not a private garden. Arrived with 2 small dogs and let them into the garden to be created by the neighbour feeding her 3 cats… you can imagine what happened next…

Stated as Luxurious but was dated, some appliances did not work fully, bathrooms and fridge had not been thoroughly cleaned and garden needed attention. private parking needs addressing as it was on Main Street and mostly we had to park quite a way up the road from the property.

Everything, dirty, cold on arrival, very uncomfortable, garden not secure, overall nothing like the pictures. Oven was dirty and didn't work. TV did work properly as the remote didn't work. Back door very hard to close and lock. Stairs VERY steep.

Overall excellent value for money, perfect for our needs. Spotless throughout. Beds very comfortable.

The only thing I would’ve liked is more comfortable sofa/chairs in the living room and that is a fairly minor issue

Very well positioned for us with easy access from the motorway and to our evening event. The bedrooms were a good size and comfortable.

When we arrived the house was really cold, the heating was off and most of the windows were open on the latch. Luckily we were going out so we didn’t have to sit in the cold while the property warmed up. The PowerPoints next to the beds in the second room didn’t seem to work apart from 1 so it was a choice between charging my phone or plugging in the bedside light. I’d asked if it was possible to make the second room as a double which the host very kindly said they’d arrange. Unfortunately this wasn’t done. The sofa was partly broken and very uncomfortable. We only stayed one night and didn’t use the kitchen.

I dont even know where to begin.... Lets start with cleanliness... well this was horrific. Crumbs and bits all over the living room floor, thick dust on the shelves, crumbs all over the kitchen floor! It was so bad to the point I messaged the host to ask when the property was last cleaned, reply was it was a few days prior.....they asked if we would like it cleaning while we were out the next day as we were there 2 nights...we said yes....this never happened. Sofa "bed". You can not call this a bed. It doesnt fit one person on properly never mind two! It is ridiculously uncomfortable to sit on nevermind sleep on. You can feel every single piece of the frame plus it is held together by masking tape. There was no bedding provided despite me stating in a message on booking that this would be needed. We got told the host would come between 8-9pm with this....it never happened. I really hope whoever attends has access to TV apps...because you cannot access live TV at all! Also, there are not enough plates, bowls etc for the 6 people that this property advertised it can sleep up to. This house has NOT been refurbished recently. It is horrific. My little girl had black feet from the floor, we had to put a foot stool in front of all the dangling wires from the freeview/satellite area. This property and host were horrific. Two promises not met. A dirty house. No bedding for the stand it is calling a sofa bed. It does not sleep 6 people at all!!

Nice spacious property.

House was very cold when we arrived, windows were on latches and couldn't be shut in the bathroom. As it was new years eve wanted to shut the noise of the fireworks but couldn't. Couch very uncomfortable not suitable for longer stays.

The house was perfect for us for staying after Christmas. The house is very well stocked and very clean. Great garden for the dog and easy to park. Bedroom and bathrooms are really spacious and it’s a comfortable home
