Dimmingsdale, woodland lodge with hot tub for 8

Excellent location very close to Alton Towers, scenic surroundings for exploring nature prior to relaxing in the hot tub or by the log burner

It is a nice building, the hot tub worked really well. It was quite private and well maintained.

I think for the price, it just needs something a bit special. It was very basic. Ecerything yiu need but in it's most basic form. No toiletries or plushness to make it an "experience". Maybe a nice sound system or comfier seating (big enough for the amount of people staying).

It’s not that we didn’t like anything, but a few added touches would make the stay even more special — such as complimentary teas, coffees and basic condiments, and perhaps dressing gowns for the hot tub. We loved the rustic look and feel of the place, however it would definitely be worth adding an electric kettle, as the current one takes an extremely long time to boil.” it would also be an added extra for check out time to be a little bit later without the added cost and check in slightly earlier without the added extra cost.

Great location and perfect for a family holiday. A beautiful area with loads of places to explore and close to Alton Towers. The Lodge has everything you need, good facilities such as a large oven and washing etc. Plenty of space for us all and they even setup the fire ready to go.

Loved the property! Beautiful and quiet location. Hot tub was a massive hit with the family. Kitchen was well equipped.

Great lodge and fantastic location. We had everything especially in the kitchen as did a lot of cooking. The lodge was spacious and clean on arrival. The beds were comfortable and it was great it had plenty of bathrooms. Amos holidays were brilliant with the instructions and always contacted me before check in. Everything was clear. The hot tub was huge and it was nice we could all be in together.

It wasn’t that we didn’t like it’s just the lodge could have done with an extra seat on the sofa or another small one.

The location was great

Considering the £250 charge for cleaning, the top of the skirting boards and other ledges were thick with dust. My daughter found a hair in her bedding and the the dustpan brush and kitchen floor had some white powder like substance on them.
