The restful location, on the water's edge, looking across the wide bay, with picturesque boats criss-crossing the water against a background of beautiful sunsets and sunrises, was awesome. Breakfasting on the native-thatched verandah next to this, or drinking wine there in the cool of evening, was a most memorable pleasure. But above all, Maria's big warm heart, enthusiastic recommendations, help and advice; and her great generosity with her time, knowledge and skills, in helping to organise further legs of our journey, and to book great touristic highlights, were truly outstanding. Honestly, she is one in a million, and her inspired input set our trip on a thrilling trajectory. It was the best vacation I have ever experienced. Her family and lovely sisters, too, were charming, helpful and entertaining - a delight to get to know. A wonderful experience overall, to stay there, and to meet them all - it is highly to be recommended. Looking back, Maria Kulafu Kubo House really was an inspired choice!
