2nd Floor Studio #4 with Ocean View and Covered Deck

Overall I have to give this place a 10. The price was really good and the location is good as well. I got locked out, and the nice lady who took my call sorted out the problem in minutes. It was my own fault, not following the instructions emailed to me. I gotta thank her for her patience.

Now, what I didn't like has nothing to do with the service at all. I don't like how Birch Bay has changed and not for the better. I previously lived in this town, and it has changed since 2017. One thing is that the pubs close at 9pm.and that's on Saturday night. I counted maybe at most maybe 8 Canadian plates on cars, and even that's a stretch. It's nice if you wanna bring your family for a weekend, though. There were way too many Americans driving around, but they seemed to be chill people. I guess I'm used to seeing mostly Canadians there.

The location

The room was very clearly cheaply designed and thrown together with whatever furniture they found on they found on the side of the road. All of the furniture gave the ambiance of a college dorm room and was so uncomfortable I couldn't sit on the couch for more than 20 minutes as it felt like sitting on a concrete block. The bed was horrible and the room was clearly designed to not be a bedroom, as the bed is thrown in the corner. The only place to clean your dishes after eating at the non existent kitchen table is the bathroom sink, which drains very slowly as I can imagine there are months of food stuck in the drain. The space is just a lazy addition to an existing house, in order for them to make more money.

Everything and more that you may need was provided 😀 the property management was very attentive 😀cooking supplies, filtered water for coffee, teas, cream, silverware paper products, wash tub , towels, extra bedding some spices, cooking grill and a hot burner outside on porch. Right across from public access to the beach and wonderful rocks and shells from beach combing 🥰😎⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

There was a down pour of rain so our covered porch got pretty wet including furniture because of leaking roof( it was reported) they were appreciative for the information.
