The newly renovated flat has now a big double shower in a modern bathroom. The airco both in the sittingroom/kitchen as well as in the bedroom are vet welcome. The street at the bedroom windows is very quiet as well as the inner courtyard and other flats. The train station and a big new supermarket are at walking distance.

The location was great, just 2 streets from the train station and only a short walk to the city centre. The apartment had everything you needed and great towels.

The key was placed in a key safe, not at the apartment but around the corner one street back which was a bit confusing. The apartment was on the 2nd floor with no elevator and was outdated. The kitchen and living room are spacious. The bedroom was big but the bed was a futon with a hard matrass. The sink in the kitchen was old, the bathroom was small and not conveniently furnished. There was an open drain next to the bath which I covered as I was afraid of bugs. The reason was that I saw a big cockroach on the stairs on the first night. Unfortunately I found one small one in the bathroom the next day.

The bedroom was large. Kitchen facilities were available.

The property is badly in need of refurbishment - even the basics of a bit of paint. The bed was very uncomfortable and the sound proofing from the adjacent appartment was poor even though the neighbours were not particularly noisy - the connecting door was just boarded up with a sheet of timber. The photos did not show the bathroom - the level of cleanlinness was poor e.g. used soap from a previous occupant was left on the adjacent shelf which itself had not been cleaned. Getting the keys was an ordeal as the instruction message in Italian was only sent on the day of travel when I had little access to the internet and then it advised that the keys were in a lockbox "in" no. 4 Via ... whereas they were in a lockbox on the exterior wall of no. 4 Via .... and I wasted time trying to get into no.4 Via ...
