WAKURABA- Chalet with the best views in Hakuba!

Only the very best impressions — an absolutely wonderful place with fantastic mountain views, lots of natural light, a cosy interior, and heated floors that make the stay even more comfortable. It will remain one of the best memories from our whole trip, as my husband celebrated his birthday morning here — and overnight it snowed heavily, the sun came out, and the mountains opened up in the most magical way! I also want to give special thanks to the incredibly hospitable host, who took such great care of us: he drove us up and back down, introduced us to his dog, prepared breakfast, gifted us a bottle of wine, and even called our next hotel to make sure we’d be safe on the road, as we were travelling with summer tyres. In the evening we enjoyed both the barbecue and the open-air bath. Highly recommended!

We loved everything about our stay at Wakuraba. Jerry and team made the stay so easy and enjoyable. Not only did we feel so welcome, we were constantly taken care of. From easy access to the slopes to restaurant recommendations, Jerry and our driver Tomu made the stay even better than we had anticipated. We could not recommend Wakuraba more. Special thanks to our incredible driver Tomu who navigated the snow like a pro and ensured we had a great time!!

We had a large group and so another bathroom would have been amazing however, we did not find it to be a huge problem as we spent most of our time each day out and about.

It’s was situated out of the hustle of Hakuba but close enough that it was only 5 mins into town. The view is spectacular

location, view, and everything is prefect, except i had to clean the washer, previous users obviously did not clean it. Lots of fibers stuck inside. Other than that, it is a perfect place for a big group who wants to enjoy the view, space, and place for themselves.
