Lakefront Loft - Downtown - Shuffle Board Table

Huge space, nicely decorated. A very good location, a 20-minute walk to the Rocket Area to see the concert we came for. 20 minutes to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The coffee pod machine was very confusing without instructions. Some very loud people and revving car noises at night.

No me gustó que no tiene extractor de olores cuando uno cocina, el apartamento quedaba oliendo a comida.

Overall very good to excellent, with some notable exceptions listed below. .

Stomping upstairs neighbor, massive noise from bar crowd at street on weekends, no desk, harsh and cold lighting, no washer or dryer, signs at property forbidding short term rentals.

Loft was great! Very quiet. Shower has good pressure but not great for tall people. Perfect for me , I'm 5"4 but not so much for my 6"1 boyfriend. Bed was very comfy. The shuffle board was definitely a favorite of ours.

No breakfast was provided but free coffee/tea was provided. We liked the upscale decor of the entire suite which we thought very tasteful. Suite was immaculately clean and very well-appointed with thoughtful decor touches and a feeling of luxury throughout. We also liked the rooftop terrace with wonderful views over the lake and downtown at night.

Management service was lacking in some ways. We managed to get one entry key no problem on first arrival. However, only one guest key had been left for us, not two. Management company should have checked before we arrived to see that TWO keys were left for us. We phoned Natalie and a second key was provided the next day, but after our chasing Natalie about it and some inconvenience for us. Secondly, we reported on Day 2 that the Keurig pod coffee machine was not working at all, and requested a replacement, we left a note on top of the machine for staff. Natalie promised one for the next day but it never came, with no further news from Natalie despite a couple more polite email requests to her. Disappointing, as we never got to use the Keurig machine once in 6 days of stay. Secondly, we reported after 2 or 3 days to Natalie that half of LR ceiling spot lights had burned-out bulbs and the same for the overhead kitchen lights, causing the kitchen area to be very dimly lit at night.. Natalie promised to get this fixed but again it never happened during our stay. In the evenings it was difficult in kitchen to prepare food in very shadowy light! Thirdly (not so important) we asked Natalie for into. about the attractive decor in the unit (wall colors etc.) she said she did not know who the decorator was, but promised to find out for us, but again, never got back about it. Natalie was polite, charming and helpful initIally about the missing key & advising on best tourist spots, but as the week went on we found our repairs needs were not being addressed. We would expect consistently attentive service from staff of an upscale place like this to get things fixed fast, so that aspect was disappointing. At that price point one expects thorough check-up of the facility in between each guest arrival, also a more reliable response if guests report something is not working. For these two important reasons we would not recommend this accommodation or stay there again.

I liked that it was clean and easy to find

I didn’t like that it’s pretty dark inside and there is not a patio attached to the apartment
