Traditional House in Old Town Xanthi - Meno Homes 3

location was suberb. stylish studio xanthi, which they mistakenly placed me during my first night was suberb. great decoration cozy atmosphere very comfortable studio within the same building with the owners.THAT was the only thing i liked. check out what i think of the traditional house facility at the lower lines.

on a rainy night after 8 hours of bus traveling i came to the location of the house,where a neighbour greeted me and rang the bell to the owners' flat. owner's sweet wife welcomed me in and showed me the room which was the studio. what do i know., i am a customer so i happily settled in. Nicholaos Sistanis was kind enough to tell me i could text him if when i need something, which i did. however, apparently he did not even know which customer i was. next day he emailed me asking my departure time and i texted him back saying it was easier to communcate like that as we already did, AND THAT İS WHEN CRISIS POPPED OUT! customers came for that flat stuio, i was located at the wrong house, he accused me of picking the wrong house which later he apologised taking full responsibility, however he insulted me and raised his voice to me number of times in front of other customers trying to have me empty the room and move to the next hpuse. ı felt so humiliated. much later at night he sent me an apology message and offered a free stay on my next visit however my whole experience and mode was destroyed. about the old house : falling apart, floors have jholes every where, i would happily stay at the studio again but not the old house.plus it was really very scary for a solo traveler female.

Very Friendly host , amazing location.

The location of the bathroom meant that there was temperature difference from the rest of the house.

Location is perfect.

I wish that the bathroom had heating. I wish there were more hangers in the bathroom. Also if you are 1.80m tall, you will hit the celling on the ground floor!

The kitchen had many facilties In the center of the city, close to the restaurants We did find parking close to the house, but it's a public one. We had to leave it there cause everything else was ocupied.

The pillow was dirty. The couch didn't had sheets. It didn't had for all 6 of us. No AC and outside was very hot and a lot of noise. I fall asleep at 2am bacause of the noise and the heat. It doesn't look at all like in the pictures. It's a very old house and the owner tried really hard to make it look good. But they didn't maintained it. Outside was looking really bad.

It's close to restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Large beds.

Extremely noisy due to been close to bars. There are commercial bins around the house so you keep waking up due to bars throwing empty glass bottles which makes loud noise in the middle of the night and than the bin collection makes another big noise in the very early morning. There isn't an air conditioner in the property due to its being an old house so you have to use a fan instead. Be careful with the stairs as it is very old and not solid. Only one toilet which is right at the bottom of the property where you need to go down a steep stairs which was difficult for kids. Nearest parking is 200 meters away but be careful as you have to drive extremely narrow place because bars and restaurants occupied the road with their tables and chairs also a lots of drunken people who just stare at you when you try to drive extremely slowly in between them. If you drive to this property than only commute in the morning before noon as it's gets busy and extremely difficult to drive out.

Location was fantastic- right in the Old Town. The apartment was really spacious. Great for a family of 4. The kids even got their own room. We really appreciated the free coffee and overall Niko was a great host. We found parking just outside the flat.

Tall people must watch their heads in some of the doorways. 😅

Great location in the old town. You totally get the feeling of staying in an old town residence. Many rooms allow for flexibility.

The house is very old but the owners have done a great job to make it comfortable (many power outlets, renovated kitchen and bathroom, hangers everywhere)
