A Casa di Nonna Anna ~ Artistic Amalfitan House

Værten mødtes med os, og gav os mange gode oplysninger, både om lejligheden, men der var også brochurer om seværdigheder. Værten gav os info om shuttlebus fra Napoli, lokale busser, færger, tips til restauranter, osv. Værten var hele tiden meget opmærksom, og om hun kunne hjælpe med mere. Super, super! Perfekt med altan, elevator, air condition. Værten havde sørget for vand og morgenmad. Vi ankom temmelig sent.

Vi kunne ønske os en sofa/bløde lænestole.

Our stay at Casa di Nonna Anna was a very pleasant experience. The host had thought about everything: we had cold water in the fridge, some sweets on the kitchen table. There were also flyers containing the timetables for different ferry rides along the coast. The host also gave us some recommendations regarding where to eat (which we enjoyed) and what is the best way to travel. We only heard of the lemon path from the host and it turned out to be one of the greatest experience of our stay. The apartament was thoroughly cleaned, we had everything we needed at our disposal, the AC worked perfectly well and the place had a pretty - artsy design. There was also a lift you could take to the apartament and you could reach the beach fairly easy. It was a relatively quiet place, quite central and you could have some nice views from the balcony. We would definitely return and recommend the place.

Giovanni was an amazing friendly informative host with a beautiful apartment. Perfect service from her, going above and beyond to help us. Giovanni provided breakfast foods and drinks on our arrival and enabled us to drop off our luggage early.

Nothing

The apartment looks really nice, stylish, cosy. The rooms are big, easly could be heated/cooled with ACs, and also the beds are comfortable. There is a washing mashine as well. Our host Giovanna is superb, she helped us all the way along after the booking to provide all the information we needed - even more! There were some welcome food prepared as we arrived, really kind of her. The main walking street is really near, and the sea is also only 5 minutes of walk. The view of Maiori is nice from the balconies. The shop Netto is nearby to fill the big refrigerator.

There is no microwave oven in the kitchen (however there is a normal oven), and there is only one bathroom for 6 people. There is no living room, or a bigger kitchen to sit and eat 6 people together. There is not enough 220V socket to charge devices together. There are only 2 seats on one of the balconies, ther other 2 has none. We could live with these issues.

Our accommodation was exceptional, really gorgeous inside and clean. What made it even better was Giovanna our hostess. She was quick to answer any questions and help us when needed, and even offered us a tour of amalfi when we struggled to get anywhere with public transport. Her local knowledge of amalfi made our trip memorable. We will definitely be coming back!

Giovanna is an amazing host, her communication is excellent, the apartment is very comfortable with thoughtful extras. We were travelling with my 82 year old father and the apartment is on the 4th with a lift. There are some stairs at the front which he could manage as there’s a hand rail. Due to my father’s limited mobility, Giovanna arranged for Andrea, a private driver to pick us up from Naples and bring us to the apartment. He also took us on a day trip for a very reasonable price, and drove us in a comfortable car to a number of towns along the Amalfi Coast as my dad couldn’t manage the buses. Andrea is a safe driver with excellent local knowledge and was able to tell us all about the history of the places we visited. Nothing was too much trouble and he was happy to tailor the experience to what my father was able to manage. He also took us to a beautiful restaurant for lunch overlooking Ravello and made the reservation for us. He is a great conversationalist and it was a very memorable day. We drove past people walking the winding roads between the towns as they were unable to get on buses, and we were very grateful to be riding with Andrea 😁. We highly recommend A Casa Di Nonna Anna and can’t wait to come back.

We honestly couldn’t think of anything

Maiori is an excellent base for exploring the Amalfi Coast. The apartment is within easy walking distance of the beach and bus stop, with no steep stairs to climb. It is close to a promenade full of shops. The house is clean and there is a lift. The apartment is on the top floor with a great view. All rooms have balconies, the kitchen is spacious. The apartment is decorated with paintings, tastefully furnished, very well equipped and perfectly clean. Giovanna is the ideal host, kind, caring and provides all relevant information before arrival. I highly recommend this apartment.

This is a beautiful property and Giovanna is a wonderful host. She went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and ensure we had a good stay. The beds are comfortable, quality linens and towels, balconies off every room with beautiful views of Maiori, excellent kitchen and laundry facilities. I wish we could have stayed longer and would stay here again. Highly recommend!

Only downside is that there will isn’t a common sitting area for family to gather and the kitchen table is small. But there are comfortable chairs so we tended to gather in the master bedroom and on the balcony.
