Country Cottage with Spa, Catering, Gardens, Nature Reserve Walks - Free Parking, Self Checkin

The cottage was cosy and warm, very clean and a great location. We also ordered dinner which was excellent and would definitely recommend.

The spa was quirky and lovely. The spa is definitely the best feature. Reg was absolutely wonderful !! So friendly and so genuine with so many interesting stories to tell.

Unfortunately the temperature of the property was far too hot, the AGA which is a nice feature, was already on and could not be touched. The property was 26 degrees upon arrival and it was like sleeping in a sauna ! We opened all the windows that could be opened and it took the 48 hours to cool down, when we mentioned this onsite it simply was “well that’s the AGA” - sorry but you go away to rest and it definitely was not restful when you cannot sleep due to the heat. The first night was like trying to sleep in a sauna, which considering it was 21st September it was not hot outside. The bath which should be a nice feature had such low water pressure it took 70 mins to run which is ridiculous. We then had to top up with jugs of cold water from the kitchen. The bed linen was tired and there are no proper towels, Turkish towels but we would like proper towels, flannels etc drying your face was sore with the towels provided. You also do not dry properly. The food service in the app is exceptionally deceiving, it is set up to insinuate that you book a time and date for food arrival, nowhere does it say we will bring the breakfast the day before and leave it for you to cook. The bread brought was hard by the next morning, as it’s just in cotton bags. All of the food was only ok. Dishwasher tablets should be left. All of the glasses were greasy because guests have to wash up so they don’t face an additional charge but the glassware was not clean. For the price we did not feel we had a restful or standout weekend. Also completely do not like the bombarding of in app messages, again very deceptive you feel people will be onsite to help but the whole family lives in Europe. It makes the “I am right here messages” feel false. We could not get help when we raised the WiFi or temperature in the property even onsite to the staff and you expect much better for the price.

Very beautiful property, warm and welcoming. Emily was very helpful on check-in and throughout my visit. Enjoyed the sauna aswell. Thanks highly recommend 👍

I not explain what an amazing time my friend and I had during our stay. Rose cottage was incredible so cute and quaint. It was clean, tidy and immediately felt like home away from home. When we went to the spa it exceeded all our expectations. It was so beautiful and relaxing, being able to have the spa to ourselves was lush! We could relax fully in peace and for two tired teachers that is a rarity! Annette was so attentive and kind throughout our stay, we honestly can not thank you and your team enough! We will definitely be back and telling everyone to visit your amazing home from home!
