Breakfast was not included in the rate. The host kindly left a bag of ice in the freezer.

It was clean and quiet. The beds were very comfortable and I was able to control the temperature well with ceiling fans and the a/c units (needless to say, it was quite warm when we were there).

Upon first arrival, the exterior appearance of the unit and the surrounding neighborhood wasn’t the greatest. Saw a cockroach in the kitchen. The bathrooms could use vent fans - after a particularly steamy shower by my son, the smoke detector went off momentarily.

The apartment itself was super

The location was a little more out of the way than I thought. It was also slightly noisy due to the neighborhood.

Location was in a quiet neighborhood with its own parking lot. Received the code for the door the morning I was supposed to check in. Everything inside was clean and seemed to be updated recently. Beds were very comfortable.

Nice, clean, and comfortable

Everything was really clean! -The apartment looks like it had been updated very recently. It all seemed new with brand new appliances! -We liked having a powder room/washroom on the main floor in addition to the main bathroom upstairs. -Starbucks was just a short drive away. -The University sports fields/park were nearby... a good place to go walking, biking, etc. -The communication/emails from Seth were timely. -We'd stay here again if we ever came back to the area!

On our first night, the humidity was so high it was uncomfortably damp in the apartment. We experimented with the a/c units and tried the "Dry" setting rather than the "Cool" one. That seemed to help reduce the dampness. Later, we actually started getting too cold. Suggestion: A welcome package with instructions about how to regulate the a/c would be a great help for inexperienced people like us; also include a list/map of where to find grocery stores, parks, coffee shops. -The stair railing didn't go along the full length of the stairs. We didn't feel as safe carrying our luggage up and down from the second floor. -There is very little kitchen counter space. We solved this by moving the tall narrow table that was behind the couch into the kitchen. This worked well for us!
