How close the house was to the town and sea. The kitchen was very well equipped. The beautiful mirrors throughout. A strong, hot shower. It had a comfortable vibe. Being able to have our dog with us. Easy, free parking.

A pungent smell in the bathroom and the shower was not easy to turn on. It is a shared courtyard. That wasn't clear in the details. Exceptionally steep stairs in the cottage. The house is situated on a busy road junction, at commuter times. The bed in the second bedroom is not a standard bed. It seemed short.

1 Alde Lane is a quaint little cottage located 5 minutes walk from town. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, cosy and very well equipped. The permit provided for parking in the church car park opposite is a real bonus - parking is a top priority for us when searching for accommodation. We would not hesitate to book again and will be recommending to friends & family.

The shower was a bit difficult to use. Bathroom is not suitable for large people.

Great location, so close to the centre of beautiful Aldeburgh. Amazing cottage, comfy, well equipped and clean.

Despite all the excuses, instructions on the use of the shower……….. it was no good. Needed to know how to override heating settings. Builder turned up at 08.30 on the day we left. Unannounced and check out time agreed had been 10.00. Felt a little thrown out!

Access to the property was well communicated by the owner; Pleased to even see a little welcome gift. The ceilings were quite low but OK for me at 5’8”. Very clean, very comfortable and the kitchen had all the amenities required. My only small gripe was that the free parking was about 60 yds away in the church car park (which I did not know). I was a little concerned as I had expensive golf equipment in the boot over night. Thankfully Aldeburgh is a very quiet town with little sign of unpleasant people. Lovely place other than that and would definitely stay again.

Not being told the Parking was not outside.

We liked how close the cottage was to the town and what we had planned to do. The cottage had everything we needed for our short stay.

Although there were clear instructions how to use the shower, it was not that easy to use. Due to the size of the property and the bathroom it caused complications for a shower screen. Both evenings we were 'entertained' by the neighbours arguing and their 18rated language.
