Luxury Shepherds hut - The Foxglove by the Lake

Wonderful location and incredibly well-appointed for its size. Cozy and warm even in the winter. Unusually good selection of cooking equipment. Very friendly and communicative staff.

Beautiful location. Staff super friendly and so helpful. I was bought some flowers from Caroline which were beautiful. The small treat left by Sam was a lovely touch - must be the best biscuits we’ve ever had! I actually compete locally and never knew it was there! So will definitely be returning.

Lovely tranquil setting - a hidden gem for sure. Located near York and Designer Shopping centre. Extremely well equipped property with everything we needed. Could not fault.

We are so happy to say that we were the first guests to stay in this hut! We had such a great experience staying at this property and the host made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. It was our first time visiting Yorkshire and the host provided us with all the information we needed to have the best stay there! We had planned to go out into Yorkshire on Saturday night for some dinner and drinks but the hut was just so beautiful and provided us with everything we needed to have a cosy night instead! The location of the property was right in the countryside and it was so peaceful. The views were beautiful and there are no words to describe the starry nights we got! All the essentials you need to cook your own dinners was provided, as well as a fridge to store food. The biggest bath I have ever got into! Parking was provided on the property and the host even came out with a trolley to pull all of our belongings to the hut. Thank you so much for accommodating us and we so look forward to our next visit!
