The apartment had an excellent location — right by Gran Vía and Callao. Even though it was in the center, it was surprisingly quiet. There were plenty of shops nearby, including food stores, markets, and shopping options, and the metro was very close, which made getting around easy. The apartment was convenient for two people, the bed was comfortable (as long as you don’t mind climbing stairs), and overall it was generally clean.

During the entrance of the neighboours, you could hear them (but only entry/exit) and there was a smell in the bathroom, even though the bathroom itself was clean.

Esta muy bien ubicado, a metros hay restaurantes españoles, chinos, japoneses argentinos, taco bell, Popeyes, Tim Hurtons. A unos minutos del Corte Inglés y de la estación de metro de Callao. Realmente cerquitita de la Gran Vía. También está equipado con micro, nevera, estufa, cafetera, plancha, tv, lavadora, muy completo. Pequeñito, pero muy cómodo.

Il letto a castello troppo alto e con la scala staccata dal muro.

Perfecto espacio para pasar unos días en el centro de Madrid, buenas comunicaciones ya sean desde Callao o desde Sol. Situado en zona peatonal. Estancia limpia y confortable.

La sujeción de la escalera para la cama superior, por lo demás ninguna pega.

The location is little bit hard to find.

Great and quiet location. Good set up. Comfortable bed. Water hot. Liked the table that could be doubled in size. Good bathroom radiator and main room aircon. Nice to have french window onto little balcony. Easy to use shutter on the fench window to keep light out and for security.

Gut-wrenching stink of sewage in the bathroom that never went. I had to keep extractor fan on 24/7 to reduce it a little. Thank goodness I didn't have to entertain or that my family were with me. Really frustrating WIFI that wouldn't let me download or play NETFLIX or BBC iPlayer etc so had to use my own data. Yet I could review previous sessions or livestream current at conference I was attending. Broken lamp fitting above bed and no instructions to tell you had a second switch built into bedframe that had to be turned clockwise. Loose light fitting for lamp above settee so couldn't angle beam properly. Tracks for both sliding doors on wardrobe broken, which meant couldn't use one half nor close the other door. Broken safety holding hooks for step ladder to bunk bed meant ladder could fall away from wall. Most dishes bowls and kitchen items had layer of old oil on them. If host just provided a proper sized washing up liquid bottle I reckon would be gone but the tiny complimentary one lasted for my 6 days only with being frugal. Who'd steal a bottle of washing up liquid?

Great place. There are two beds (one sofa bed included) so that we can sleep comfortably. And the hot water comes pretty quickly.

The air conditioner is too close to the bed, hard to get the room cool quickly. Also, the dryer seems not to work. We have the clothes dry for over 6 hours but they are still a bit wet.
