Neat Cottage, seaside cosy converted barn for 4

Everything! Clean, modern, cosy near to Beaumaris and had everything we needed for a lovely stay. The booking process was really easy and efficient.

There wasn’t anything really. The only additions I would make would be a long mirror in one of the bedrooms and a footstool for when watching TV to make it even more relaxing.

The place isn't comfortable at all, not the cosy little place you would exspect. Was so cold when we arrived, it has under floor heating which does not heat the place sufficiently, the log burner took a long time to heat just that room, therefore the bedrooms was very cold, we used extra quilts to keep warm overnight. Also the slate steps to enter the property are not practical for anyone disabled or struggles with steps, was dangerous when wet.

The property was nice

Letting us know the key safe was round the back of the property we were outside for 15min trying to get in and no one was answering the phone. There was no welcome pack which would have been nice. The beach was a walk across a road i have arthritis the write up made it sound like the beach was nearer. Some of the pans in the cupboard do not work on the hob no point them being there! Shower could do with a good clean.

Steep steps with varying lengths and depth and no handrails this made it difficult to access the property . Unable to access with our baggage and provisions as I am disabled as a result of sarcoma cancer. When we entered the cottage We found it dirty with dead spiders in the sink dead wasps on work tops and floor. Hanging rail over a chest of drawers givivg 16in of hanging space hanging rail in bedroom 2 damaged so unable to use. not all as led to believe photos descriptions did not match. Unable to turn underfloor heating and told construction manager Amos properties tried to make contact by phone we were told she was busy and would ring back in next 20mins she rang use 3days later. She told me she had rung and we did not answer but I did have a missed call. To this end we could not stay and returned home the same day.

The property was lovely and had very nice kitchen amenities. It had a washing machine, dishwasher, good quality microwave, oven and fridge.

The seats could have been comfier. They were okay to sit on for a short while but it wasn’t what I would call a comfortable sofa.

The property was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the log burner and appreciated that everything was supplied for its use. The property is within walking distance of a beach and there are several other great beaches a fairly short drive away. We took our 2 dogs with us and it worked well for them too.

Lovely and clean in a beautiful location not too far from Beaumaris. The cottage had everything we needed to make our weekend a fabulous break. Really close to the sea just a short walk.

No lock on the bathroom and no full length mirror within the cottage.
