Stairs a bit steep

The property was modern, clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay like home from home. There was a parking permit for 1 vehicle. The hosts extremely accommodating.

We were booked to stay in Egomania house, we were contacted for our arrival time and was told we would receive an email with the code for the key box to access the property. We didn’t get this code, so had to call for the code, but when we accessed the key safe, no key. A lovely left met with us to access the property but it already had guests there. The host had another property over the road to which we had to stay, as apparently the bookings were mixed up by booking.com. Eventually getting into the other property after waiting around for 30 minutes. The property had multiple defects that if tended to could have made this review higher rated. There were patches on the walls that exposed plaster from damage. The handle to to the bathroom door faulty. The banister on one side damaged. The outdoor area had furniture but this was unfortunately covered in cobwebs excessively and obviously not cleaned for some time. There was animal excrements on the artificial turf so we didn’t used the outdoor facilities. It was 30 degrees so would have been nice to sit outside. The street the property was on, was a little to be desired. In the middle of a residential area of terraces, the lower front window was frosted to prevent people seeing in or out. The upstairs window catch was broken in the front bedroom, so had to prop this open with a bottle.

The property was beautiful, it had everything we needed and provided plenty of space for us all. The entire place was spotless and the beds were incredibly comfortable.

Nothing. It was perfect for what we needed

It was an easy walk into the city centre. Spotless and clean. Warm and comfortable. Modern and stylish. Very comfy beds and bedrooms.

Only 3 mugs for 4 adults. Broken toilet door handle. It was very hard to store milk in the fridge as a shelf for milk, etc, was missing. No cleaning anti bac for kitchen, no cloths or kitchen roll.

It had a large stylish wooden table in the kitchen that meant we could all sit and eat together; many properties don't have this, or provide a flimsy fold-up table with stools. Coffee machine was very welcome, kitchen was well-equipped and everything worked.

There was nothing I didn't like. We came on the train but I imagine even with a parking permit, parking would be challenging if you arrived by car.
