Rancho El Ancla Surf City Wi-Fi AC Pool

Love the pool, great outdoor space. The person in charge is so nice and made sure we felt at home. Just steps to the beach.

The property was missing a few things like some seasonings, coffee and sugar. Just basic stuff in the kitchen. Also a comforter would have been helpful since we didn't know how to turn off the AC. Unrelated to the property but the beach was too dirty for my liking.

Norma, the onsite host, was exceptionally kind and helpful.

Owner failed to disclose that there are survelliance cameras throughout the property. This made it impossible to enjoy the outdoor amenities, especially since one camera was directly pointing at the pool and outdoor shower, where people shower and swim at various stages of undress. At night a red light on the camera was visible, indicating that night vision was enabled and that the cameras were functioning. Failing to disclose the cameras before booking is a major violation of the rules and personal privacy. Also, payment is required to be in cash so there is no recourse. House needs maintenance. The toilet floods the floor when flushed, for example.

Everything was ok, clean, enough space, amazing pool, they were ok with our dogs.

We couldn't have a barbecue because there is not enough light in the barbecue area and in the pool

Loved the privacy that offers. Norma was exceptionally kind and eager to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable.

The roads are a little rough with a lots of potholes. Nothing to do with the property though.
