Charming Gateshead Retreat - Close to Newcastle - Angel of the North

This accommodation is fantastic, We only stayed for 2 nights it had everything we needed. A lovely location.

Clean, tidy cosy cottage, tv worked ok.

Bed for 4th person wasn’t made up, and no bedding left out meant we had to go and buy more bedding, as too late a response from host. Not enough cutlery, but we reported this to the cleaners so hopefully for the next people there will be plenty.

A lovely well equipped house situated in a quiet location. Nice to have outdoor space and parking.

The mattress in the master bedroom needs improving (being dealt with by host) and perhaps some curtains in the bedrooms.

This place was let down by the small things no tea towels which you need as no dishwasher no hand towel in the kitchen cracked glass left in the cupboard no dish cloth obviously the owner is relying on the cleaners to the detriment of his business. Beware of the step inside the back gate it’s an ankle breaker.

Clean, tidy , well thought out. Lots of extra touches , lovely towels , tea, coffee, good well equipped kitchen.

Wi-Fi wouldn’t work, a minor inconvenience for us but might annoy someone travelling with teens or for work.

Lovely little property. All very clean.
