Lavender Lodge - Pool and Hot Tub with sunset views over open fields

The property was clean, in a beautiful location. It has everything you needed and more. We wanted for nothing. It was myself, my 9 tear old son and parents. In the morning we even saw deer! What a perfect way to start Christmas Eve

Nothing to dislike at all

The property is lovely it's very private and peaceful. Tea coffee sugar butter milk was all provided even home made croissants! It's lovely and warm and a very cosy perfect for couples and friends

Views were good. Comfy bed and good layout of property.

Shower was a bit erratic temperature wise and would be useful to have a seat if required in the shower. Long walk from car parking area to accommodation and not suitable for a wheelchair so this perhaps could’ve been pointed out in the information.

This was a little gem, slightly off the beaten track, but perfect for a one or two night getaway. Lots of little touches to enhance the experience. Super clean and warm and comfortable on a cold November evening. Definitely recommended.

If one criticism- the sofa in the lounge area wasn’t the most comfortable.

Nothing, Everything was fantastic.

Very homely, cosy, clean and well equipped. The little touches such as milk were lovely. Hot tub was lovely, comfy bed and bedding and good location.

Couldn’t fault it.

Firstly, the host was superb!! Great communication throughout, our big fluffy golden retriever even got to have a doggy play date with their little Fifi dog 🐶 Lavender lodge was incredibly clean, I've stayed in lots and lots of hotels/lodges/airbnbs etc and there is usually always something missing, but they have thought of everything here, even little treats for our dog. Games for the children, washing up liquid... Oh and we even found milk and bottles of water and fruit shoots for the children!! The hot tub was an added bonus, the children enjoyed it in the evening and we all enjoyed it as a family the next morning, and as it was my birthday, it was a lovely start to the day.

Nothing, although the children were a little uncomfortable on the sofa bed but nothing to complain about
