Lavender Lodge - Pool and Hot Tub with sunset views over open fields

Hosts were lovely. The view was gorgeous. It had everything you needed, and thoughtful touches like croissants and jam for breakfast. Good base for exploring, nice and quiet.

It was a peaceful and well appointed apartment. I thought little details were unexpected and pleasant. Lovely to have fresh milk and croissants in the freezer.

I thought the jacuzzi was going to be a proper one and not a small blowup one. That was a bit underwhelming. My own fault I guess for not paying better attention. Definitely would have appreciated a cafetière. Did try to knock on the door but no answer. We just had tea instead. We didn’t get to use the pool as it was out of season. Maybe a summer stay might be on the cards? There was quite a lot of dog poo in the wood chips. Which we cleared up. Not from our own dogs.

Beautiful scenery and theres everything you need within the lodge. It was lovely to meet the hosts but they also respected our privacy which i think was very important and respectful, cant fault anything and will definitely be returning. Wish we could afford to go on the regular. So tranquil and relaxing, and cant beat the sport, scenery and nature around you! It was even better that we got the amazing weather for it also, even if it wasn't so beautiful weather wise theres netflix, hot tub if not right to use the pool, there are board games and a park across the road. Theres not much I really can fault about our stay! The only thing possibly is the hot tub was very very strong which has left rashes from using it but theres nothing negative at all to say about this place at all.

The property was well decorated and had everything you needed ! The owners had even gone out of their way to provide extras such as crossiants etc The hot tub looking onto the fields was really lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay so thank you!!
