House is well equpied,clean and quiet location

There wasn't any door lock except main doors.one of the Shower door was not working. Other shower hasn't got lock as well.Other than everything was just brilliant.

Lounge was more spacious than expected, as was the whole house. Bathroom and ensuite were especially lovely. Bedroom one with ensuite was huge and had dual windows, this was the best bedroom. Bedroom two dual windows were a great feature too. Bus route close to the house with regular bus services, although we didn't use the bus it would be great if you didn't have a car. Train station only 10 minutes walk. Cliff top walk with tarmac path to both Sandown & Shanklin, was fairly easy. Cliff path mid way between Lake and Sandown to the beach was a bit steep, but manageable even for elderly person. Staying on the cliff path all the way into Sandown and Shanklin was easier. Walking along promenades was also enjoyable. DInosaur Isle in Sandown was amazing, well worth visiting. They also deduct part of the parking charge. AJ's takeaway is the best for cod with light crispy batter, chicken nuggets, burgers and chips Morrisons was not far away and was huge with prices similar to what we were paying on the mainland - a pleasant surprise to many years ago when IOW supermarkets were much more expensive.

Bed in room 2 direct onto floor made it hot. It also meant the fitted sheet valance was too deep for the bed. There was a winter weight duvet on bed, but we found a summer weight one to swop over. Walk to beach using Lake cliff path, it took longer then 5 minutes to reach the beach. Due to a cliff fall there is a diversion to join the cliff path at the YMCA on the main road. The cliff path down from Lake to the beach was steep and not as easy as expected for an elderly person and a young child. Without carrying buckets, spades, etc. would probably have been easier. Just used this route once and other times walked directly into Sandown and Shanklin.

Perfect location, near to beach and parking for 2 cars.

There were no locks to the bathrooms. Wifi and heating instructions were not clear.

We were surprised by how close it was to the beach, a 10 minute stroll. Very spacious and clean house, with everything you could possibly need. Lots of fridge space. Lovely sofas, inside and out.

It was perfect.
