The location was excellent and really close to everything we wanted to do. Eateries and pubs are very close by. It was a very quiet location, with the area feeling very safe. Easy access with electric coded door. Guidance for how to get there was good and how to access the flat.

The kitchen wasn't as fully equipped as we hoped, e.g. no bread knife, cloths, dish towel, dust pan and brush. The main bedroom didn't have a door, one window in the lounge didn't have a blind, which meant whoever was sleeping on the sofa bed didn't have a very dark room. The hob, oven and coffee machine didn't have any user guides, so we were unable to use the oven and couldn't get the coffee machine to work correctly. We eventually figured out the hob by chance on our second night. Support online did try to help but ultimately we got it by ourselves. There were really good remotes for the lights on all the different rooms however the batteries were flat, so we were unable to make use of them. The extractor in the bathroom only came on if the extractor at the hob was in use, which seemed strange. Either all the lights were on or off at the same time.

Very hot inside the house; not enough towels

Location was great. Access was good Apartment itself was fair.

The property could have been much cleaner upon check in. Our host seemed to have poor knowledge of his property and was unable to answer questions which were fundamental to our tenancy. In some areas the apartment lacked basics such as a bath mat or dish towel as well as some basic repairs and improvements were needed. No information was available in the suite about how to operate various things. Such as lights nor did they work anyway. The host ended up basically being a distraction rather than a proponent Generally speaking. Information in the listing was inac curate and information obtained directly from the host was confusing. Wrong. And misleading. Of interest. The tenant immediately previous to us had left a list of things to modify or change or fix. But none of it had been And basic cleaning was extremely basic.

Great location. Lots of view windows. Top floor with elevator. Easy check in and check out. Very quiet. Perfect for a couple. Suggestions: pick up a roll of paper towels and napkins; bring a face towel; pick up basic cooking spices, butter, oil; room heater control is by desk window; black switch by front door is master on off for all rooms; to work the stove top turn on vent hood (silver panel behind burners; hold in far right button a few seconds til lights come on), then place pan on burner, then hold in “on” button front bottom left for a few seconds til system beeps and red lights come on, then hold in front top left button for a few seconds til all burner power levels show “0”, then press desired heat level for the burner you want; should be working!). If you want bath fan on then turn on range hood again.

Everything you need and more, very quiet, but in the center of Bergen, wonderful!
