The Bay En-suite Room

Very shabby from the outside, not at all inviting. Entry was ok, codes for doors. Bed …well adequate Bathroom untidy and shower door would not close when in use. Didn’t really use kitchen facilities but looked ok but dated.

location hard to drive to but satnav got me there eventually. one way system complex for out of towner.

The room was dirty cups were dirty, bathroom walls were cracked and had damp patches, shower door only stayed closed if you held it closed, shower power was weak, tv reception was poor Tried to contact owner but to no avail. Felt a refund was in order as we moved out early in to better accommodation. Obviously student accommodation

Bathroom smelt damp. Towels were not clean we had to go out and buy a set. We found an extra pillow but it was stained. We had to buy toilet rolls as there wasn't enough. We had to also buy 2 mugs as the 2 that were left were not very nice. The coffee was all hard and the spoons had see better days. Very tired and run down. There was a wet towel with some sort of costume all wet in a bag in the wardrobe.

The room was clean and modern and a nice siza for 2 with the added convenience of a kitchen and TV room. We also liked the keyless entry. The shower was good, worked well and nice and warm. Though the parking is on the street, we had no problem finding a space each time we came back. It was about 20 minutes walk to Sutton Harbour though Grenville Road itself seemed the longest part of the walk!

We found the coffee table a little low and a bedside table on the window side was needed. Also would have liked a bedside light as once the main light was turned off it was very dark for getting over to the bed

A great clean and quiet property with everything you need for a few days stay, great value for money and owners are nice and friendly. No complaints, will use again if ever in plymouth again.
