"Lovely, quirky accommodation in a beautiful location!"

10.0

Small, but not claustrophobic, quirky converted barn/outhouse; the perfect jumping off point for the town of Crickhowell and all its amenities, plus multiple walks in the Beacons, of course! The kitchenette had everything we needed to cook on a night we didn't want to eat out. The lounge area was comfy and well equipped with TV, books, walking info-a-plenty, games and jigsaws (for the inevitable bad weather when in Wales!). The bathroom was spotless and again had all the necessities, plus the mezzanine bedroom was super cosy and very comfortable. Loved the unusual layout, including the precarious spiral stairs! Being as high up as we were meant the views across the Beacons were superb! The instructions for arrival and departure were crystal clear and the hosts were super-responsive (and didn't mind that we ate all the choccy biccies!). Thank you Keith and family!

The only thing I would say is to take care on the spiral stairs; they are narrow and could be tricky to navigate if you're not super mobile. They are also unforgiving when transporting your luggage upstairs!

Nothing, the place was faultless.

"Perfect!"

10.0

Lovely location, plenty of parking, and immaculate accommodation. Very comfortable. Tea, coffee, bread & jams, even a bottle of mild in the fridge! Everything you need to cook a meal yourself, bathroom is perfect, bed is comfortable. There’s even a washing machine in the garage area, you literally cannot fault this place.
